WarCritters Coming soon to Steam

An animal battle simulator — coming soon to Steam

Draft an army · watch it fight

About

WarCritters is an animal battle simulator built in Bevy/Rust. Draft two armies from a roster of dozens of species, set them loose in an arena, and watch the fight play out — or drop into any critter on your side and fight alongside it in first or third person.

It is a physics game first. Every unit is a real body with a real hitbox: it climbs terrain, gets shoved, flinches from hits, topples when it dies, and piles up where it falls.

Gameplay footage

Unedited captures from in-development builds, played back at the speed the game ran. The panels in the corners are developer tools, not part of the game's interface. Use the full-screen button on any clip to see it big; on a phone, turn it sideways.

A whole match, start to finish — both armies line up in Battle Setup, charge across the Classic arena, meet in the middle and fight it out until one side wins.

The Armory — run the firing range in third person, then switch to first person, rifle at the hip, facing the knights and cattle that stand in as targets.
